Brown butter chocolate chip Ingredients 1 stick unsalted butter 1 cup All Purpose Flour (130g) 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 cup white sugar (50g) 1/2 cup dark brown sugar (100g) 1 egg 1 tsp vanilla extract 4oz chocolate morsels (I mix dark and semi-sweet) Instructions Over medium heat, melt butter. Reduce heat and stir occasionally until butter turns golden. Let cool slightly. Mix dry ingredients Use mixer to beat sugars + butter Add egg and vanilla to mixer Increase mixer to med-high until the mix turns lighter and slightly thicker Add dry ingredients to mixer. Mix on low until incorporated. Fold in chocolate morsels Let sit at room temperature for 30 mins Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C) Scoop the cookie dough (I use a 2 tsp one) into rounded balls and place them on the baking sheet with parchment paper Bake for 9-11 mins Optionally sprinkle some salt when you take them out Notes If you try this recipe, please let me know.
